Express Entry is an online system that we use to manage immigration applications from skilled workers. The Express Entry Program is a point-based program that awards points on the basis of various factors like age, language, education, work experience, and adaptability. There are three immigration programs managed through Express Entry:
- Canadian Experience Class
- Federal Skilled Worker Program
- Federal Skilled Trades Program
The most important aspect of the Express Entry Program is to provide complete and accurate information/documentation and get an ITA. Without an invitation, you are unable to apply for permanent residence through the Express Entry Program.
The Express Entry program will also allow individual provinces and territories to use the system in order to recruit suitable candidates as part of the Provincial Nominee Programs so that labor market demands are met.
